Driveways & Walkways across the Hamptons

A driveway is the first hundred feet of the property and it takes more abuse than anything else on it. We install new gravel, stone and paver driveways and walkways on a properly compacted base, and we maintain existing ones — regrading, refreshing stone, resetting settled pavers and correcting the drainage that caused the problem to begin with.

Most failed driveways on the East End are base failures, not surface failures. Skimping on depth or compaction means ruts and washouts by the second winter, so we excavate to proper depth, compact in lifts, and shape a crown that sheds water to the edges. On maintenance calls we fix the grade and drainage first, because new stone over a bad base just buys you one more season.
